Book Binding

Printmaking_ prac continued...

I've continued making a few more books. Buying inside paper from Office Works or similar, and more screws from Eckersleys... I found with experimenting, came a new set of issues - thinner fabrics lead to more binding problems and bubbling at spines, less robust cardboards curled... I had to experiment more with how much glue to put on the board, as not to get glue coming through the fabric as you folded it. Also, the areas around the screws and spines bubbled badly. The plain cover with the pattern on the inside, and patterned cover with plain on the inside is easier on the eye, than pattern pattern...
